Holiday Haul

Bonjour Lovelies!
I know, I know... I've been a very bold blogger recently and the word inconsistent wouldn't even begin to describe my posting. I feel like I've been all over the country and then some. Most recently I trekked on down to Cork to the Irish Open - but more on that later. Time kinda got the best of me - it happens!

Anyhoos, today I come baring nice things for you to look at! Mother Dearest hopped on a plane last weekend to soak up the sun with one of her friends. I may not have got to do any jet setting but I did make sure that Moms done a little shopping on my behalf. haha.

Firstly, I re-purchased Chanel's Perfection Lumiere Velvet in Beige 10. Yes, I do enjoy it that much. You'll notice that it features in most, if not all, of my makeup look posts. I've really put it to the test with the hot weather we've been having recently (hopefully Ireland isn't finished with Summer just yet) and it's held up so well. A must have for oily skin gals in my opinion!

I also made a bold nail polish purchase. Mum pretty much has my taste down to a tee, so she picked out Chanel's 'Sweet Lilac'. I love the lasting power of Chanel varnishes and the formula is spot on. Is this not purrrfect for Summer? Yup!

I also made Mum throw MAC's 'Spice' Lip Liner into her carry-on. I've been drooling over this little thing for I don't know how long and just couldn't say no. You have no idea how excited I am to do a makeup look with this. It's happiness in pencil form. haha.

Brow Tech To Go from Smashbox was a bit of a random purchase, but Mum seen it and boy does she know that I love a good brow. Haha. I'm always looking for something that can better my Benefit 'Browzings' duo - so I'll see how this bad boy compares.

And last but not least, my love affair with Marc Jacobs continues. I'm badly running out of all of my favourite fragrances at the minute and my dresser was calling out for some new tenants. So this is what Mum picked up for me! The scent is fab. You really can't go wrong with Marc Jacobs... no, really, you can't. Daisy Dream is the newest addition to the Marc Jacobs fragrances, I believe. I'm in love with the bottle. It's just adorable - all the feels!

And that's about it guys and gals!
I can't wait to get experimenting with all my new toys! Haha.

Someone tell me I'm not the only one that turns the airport into a shopping trip?

XO, G.
