Pale Girl Tanning with St. Tropez

Let's just put it out there - my excitement about writing this post is not normal.
As a super pale skinned gal (thank ya Irish weather), when it comes to Summer my skin seems to lack a certain sun kissed glow - and yes, even when I do manage to get out in the sun, I still find it hard to tan. Basically, my best friend tends to be a bottle of self-tanner.

I'll be the first one to come clean about my addiction to the ever-so-popular Sally Hansen - it's easy to apply and it's instant - but since I've been introduced to the Everyday Gradual Tan from St. Tropez, I've learned that those are pretty much the only positives I can find with it! Sorry Sally!

I came across this stuff last weekend during my trip to Cork! Those of you in Ireland know that we had a bit of a scorcher (yes, really) - and typically, I got burnt! Unfortunately my After Sun just wasn't doing its job and I really needed something a lot more moisturising that would also even out my skin tone! Enter the genius that is St. Tropez.

I've been using this stuff everyday since my little sunburn faux pas and I honestly don't even know where to start with singing its praises!

So... maybe a list will help!

1 - It is extremely moisturising!
As I mentioned my After Sun wasn't doing it's job and my shoulders were just starting to peel (sorry if that's too much info) but since I've started using this there's no dry skin in sight! I apply it, like I would a moisturiser, after I get out of the shower and wait for it to work its magic!

2 - It gives the most natural looking tan I've seen in awhile!
With having such pale skin, I'd rather look for a tan that gives more of a sun kissed glow. Basically, I don't wanna come out looking like Snooki - something that I've noticed can happen with Sally Hansen. St. Tropez' Everyday Gradual Tan is the perfect product when it comes to what I want colour-wise!

3 - It doesn't look like you're wearing fake tan - aka. NO PATCHES!
Life's too short for patchy tan and one thing I despise about Sally Hansen's Instant Tan is that it gets patchy so easily. No bueno! But this stuff - it's got even coverage down to a fine art. Because it's
applied like a moisturiser and it's colour is gradual, it blends seamlessly!

4 - No more waking up to brown bed sheets!
It doesn't transfer to bed sheets or clothes - HALLELUJAH!

5 - It doesn't have a disgusting scent!
While it does smell of something, I can't say that the scent of this tan is horrible. Better again - it doesn't linger. So don't fear smelling kinda funky after it's developed!

- It doesn't have a shimmer!
I noticed over the past couple of years that Sally Hansen changed their formula up and added a shimmer to their instant tan. What natural looking tan shimmers? I love that this basically looks like your skin!

Apologies that I have no before & after images but trust me when I say that I'm a lot more pale than this. As you can see, the tan is super natural looking! It's subtle but still looks as if you've been out in the sun!

This tube cost me €19.95 and considering you'd shell out €13.59 for Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs in Boots, I don't think that's bad at all. I honestly think that St. Tropez' Everyday Gradual Tan will last me longer, it's much more nourishing for my skin and it gives a far nicer finish!

... and that's about it guys and gals. If I havn't convinced you to try out this stuff by now, I don't know what will! Haha.

Have you tried this little gem... or any of St. Tropez' products?
What's your favourite self tanner?

Let me know in the comments!!

Summer Shades | Sweet Lilac - Chanel

Oh hey there!
I feel like it's been forever since I popped up a review of a nail polish on this thang - so here goes!
If you've read my Holiday Haul you'll know that I made a few splurges in the airport recently... don't say you don't do it too. Haha. This is one of the little goodies I ended up with - Chanel's Le Vernis Nail Colour in the shade 'Sweet Lilac'.

If you don't think this is the most yummy shade for Summer, then you're a crazy (not really, you're perfectly fine). For some reason it reminds me of Gellato or FroYo and those are both foods, so I was sold straight away!

Food talk aside - Chanel claim that this is an exclusive formula that strengthens and moisturises the nail all while delivering a high-shine colour. Sounds almost too good to be true, but Chanel don't lie (just like Shakira's hips). As you apply the polish it doesn't feel as if it's drying out your nail - something that I do notice with other nail polishes especially after the first coat, so good for you Chanel!

Another thing that made me a happy bunny? The fact that it was streak free and completely opaque after just 2 coats - HALLELUJAH! I didn't even feel like I needed to apply another 'just incase'.

I topped it of with Deborah Lippmann's 'Hard Rock' top coat (which I finally got replaced thanks to the lovely gals at Harvey Nichols) so this shouldn't be budging any time soon!

Just a quick warning - if you're planning on bagging 'Sweet Lilac', Chanel is telling me that it's limited edition, so get it while its hot gal pals!

What's your go to Summer shade?
Have you ever tried out Chanel's nail polish formula?

Let me know in the comments!!

What's On My Face | Soft Grunge (Makeup Look)

Waddup Peeps!
I'm sure I can't be the only one out there that gets completely obliterated by hay fever around this time of the year and for some reason it's been getting to me really badly over the last 2 weeks (scratchy eyes, sneezing.. the works! Sexaayy!). On the bright side, it's forced me to switch up my makeup routine because liquid liner and hay fever don't make for a long lasting look!

So take a little look see at the face I've been sporting literally everyday over the past 2 weeks!

Obviously, minimal makeup is your best friend when it comes to hay fever season, so I've said 'SEEYUH!' to my liquid liner (it had to be pried out of my hands) and 'HEYYUHH!' to a more subtle eye makeup look! I've stuck mainly to two of my favourite shadows and tried to stay as far away as I can from anything that can move about or run throughout the day! So lashings of mascara and a good kohl eye pencil were the way forward!

I've actually surprised myself and become a big fan of this bronzy/minimal eye makeup!

Of course, because I've been opting for a more minimal eye makeup look than I'm used to, I obviously had to do something to make my pout pop! I have to put my hands up and admit that I didn't think I'd be a huge fan of a brown lip on myself (Kylie Jenner holds the gold in that department), but I actually really love it. At first I used an old, never used NYC brown lipliner that I found lying about my makeup stash - but last week I invested in a little gem I've been lusting over for a lifetime - MAC's 'Spice' Lip Liner. Yup! Heaven in liner form!

And that's about it guys and gals!

Here's everything I used if you want to re-create this look:

BASE

Primer | The Porefessional - Benefit
Foundation | Perfection Lumiere Velvet (Beige 10) - Chanel
Concealer | FIT me! (15) - Maybelline & Radiant Creamy Concealer (Chantilly) - NARS
Powder | Loose Translucent Setting Powder - Callanberry & FIT me! Pressed Powder (Classic Ivory) - Maybelline
Contour | Uninterrupted - MAC

EYES
Brows | Browzings - Benefit
Eye Primer | Eyeshadow Primer Potion - UD
Shadows | Uninterrupted - MAC & Woodwinked - MAC
Liner | Black Kohl Liner - Callanberry
Mascara | Scandaleyes Retro Glam - Rimmel London

LIPS
Liner | Spice - MAC
Lipgloss | Hoola - Benefit

How do you feel about this more minimal makeup look?
Do you feel as if your liquid liner is another limb? Haha.

Also, let me know your tips for combating hay fever at this time of the year!

Holiday Haul

Bonjour Lovelies!
I know, I know... I've been a very bold blogger recently and the word inconsistent wouldn't even begin to describe my posting. I feel like I've been all over the country and then some. Most recently I trekked on down to Cork to the Irish Open - but more on that later. Time kinda got the best of me - it happens!

Anyhoos, today I come baring nice things for you to look at! Mother Dearest hopped on a plane last weekend to soak up the sun with one of her friends. I may not have got to do any jet setting but I did make sure that Moms done a little shopping on my behalf. haha.

Firstly, I re-purchased Chanel's Perfection Lumiere Velvet in Beige 10. Yes, I do enjoy it that much. You'll notice that it features in most, if not all, of my makeup look posts. I've really put it to the test with the hot weather we've been having recently (hopefully Ireland isn't finished with Summer just yet) and it's held up so well. A must have for oily skin gals in my opinion!

I also made a bold nail polish purchase. Mum pretty much has my taste down to a tee, so she picked out Chanel's 'Sweet Lilac'. I love the lasting power of Chanel varnishes and the formula is spot on. Is this not purrrfect for Summer? Yup!

I also made Mum throw MAC's 'Spice' Lip Liner into her carry-on. I've been drooling over this little thing for I don't know how long and just couldn't say no. You have no idea how excited I am to do a makeup look with this. It's happiness in pencil form. haha.

Brow Tech To Go from Smashbox was a bit of a random purchase, but Mum seen it and boy does she know that I love a good brow. Haha. I'm always looking for something that can better my Benefit 'Browzings' duo - so I'll see how this bad boy compares.

And last but not least, my love affair with Marc Jacobs continues. I'm badly running out of all of my favourite fragrances at the minute and my dresser was calling out for some new tenants. So this is what Mum picked up for me! The scent is fab. You really can't go wrong with Marc Jacobs... no, really, you can't. Daisy Dream is the newest addition to the Marc Jacobs fragrances, I believe. I'm in love with the bottle. It's just adorable - all the feels!

And that's about it guys and gals!
I can't wait to get experimenting with all my new toys! Haha.

Someone tell me I'm not the only one that turns the airport into a shopping trip?

What's On My Face | Purple Haze (Makeup Look)

Hey Hey People!

Hope you all had a fab weekend! I spent mine celebrating Fathers Day & both my Brother and Boyfriend's birthdays. Hectic, I know! haha.

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen that I posted the picture above on Saturday morning & a lot of you seemed to like the makeup look, so I thought I'd pop up a blog post and tell you more about it!

I wore this look out to dinner with B, my Brother & his Gurlfriend on Friday night. My outfit wasn't too crazy (I wasn't wearing the outfit in this pic, FYI. haha), so I thought I'd go a little more mad with my makeup - not too mad I hope! I think you all know I'm a tad obsessed with purple eye makeup for Summer, so I couldn't not break out some purple shadows!

Before you ask, I was beyond tempted to swipe on a dark lip with this too - but I think I'll save that for another occasion. Instead, I opted to play it safe (boooo!) with my favourite pinky/nude shade from MAC - Creme Cup.

All of the shadows that I used were from an old Urban Decay palette I had lying around, proving that you don't constantly need to purchase new shadows if you've got perfectly fine little gems lying right under your nose! Save yo' pennies guys & gals!

I finished the look off with some super dramatic lashes, which are from MAC but I can't remember for the life of me what lashes they are - soz. If you want to recreate this look, just search for the longest fluttery lashes you can find. haha.

And here are all the lovely things I used to make this (^^^) happen!

BASE:
Primer | The Porefessional - Benefit
Foundation | Perfection Lumiere Velvet (Beige 10) - Chanel
Concealer | FIT me! (15) - Maybelline & Radient Creamy Concealer (Chantilly) - NARS
Powder | Loose Sheer Setting Powder (Pale Yellow) - Bobbi Brown
Contour | Uninterrupted - MAC

EYES:
Brow Powder | Browzings - Benefit
Eye Primer | Eyeshadow Primer Potion - UD
Shadows | Last Call, Psychedelic Sister & Rockstar - UD
Liner | Unsure of the brand but it's just a black kohl liner [I applied this all over the lid and the lower lash line and blended out, using it as a base for the purple shadows]
Mascara | Volume & Waterproof Mascara - Inglot
Lashes | MAC

LIPS:
Lipstick | Creme Cup - MAC
Lipgloss | Again, unsure of the brand but it's just a really soft pink shade

Hope you enjoy the look & let me know if you're gonna recreate it!

How do you feel about wearing coloured shadows?
Are you more of a neutral gal?

Let me know in the comments!

Tapas @ The Port House Ibericos

Before I get in to the yummy goodness that is The Port House,  I just wanna say THANK YA! for the response to my last blogpost on my University Experience. Your Tweets and Facebook comments made my day and I'm glad that so many of you could relate! Round of applause and brownies for errbody that made it to the end of that post! haha.

Anyhoos... Turns out that this week I've got a gazillion things that need celebrating. Okay, slight exaggeration, I've got 3 things that need celebrating.

It's both my brother AND my boyfriends birthday this week... and of course I'm celebrating the greatness that is my Poppa Bear for Father's Day this Sunday.

On Monday, we decided to kill two birds with one stone and dragged the boys to Dundrum Shopping Centre for some pre-birthday Tapas in The Port House Ibericos (shopping was involved too, don't you worry).

This is one of.. actually scratch that, this is my favourite place to eat when I come to Dundrum. From the food to the ambiance, it's right on point. It almost feels as if you're eating in a wine cellar (especially if you're there at night) - awesome, I know!

But, the sun was shining, so we decided to take advantage of the good weather and sat outside in their garden dining area complete with hanging lights and cosy blankets incase it gets cold... they think of everything.

On to the food!!

I feel as if I'm gonna have to let it speak for itself.

Eating from a Tapas menu is my favourite - basically because you get to order as many different types of food as you want. haha.

Prepare to drool ...

ALL THE FOOD!

The Patatas Alioli are a family favourite. 1 portion is never enough.. So. So. So. Good!

I get these meatballs every time I visit - they are HEAVEN IN MEATBALL FORM!

The menu is super extensive, so fear not if you're a veggie! There are more than enough options!

It's so nice to be able to try something new every time you visit!

And if you think you'll still be hungry after eating such little-looking portions, think again! You'll be stuffed! The staff are more than helpful if you're stuck with what to order!

Can't forget about desert!

CHURROS! ... That is all.

So bad for you - but so good!

By the time I got my camera out to picture B's Fudge Cake, this was all that was left..

He clearly hated it... haha.

If by some chance you find yourself in Dundrum, make sure you pop on out to The Port House.
You'll find it out the back in the company of all the other eateries!

But wait, there's more - no, literally, they have 2 more restaurants in Dublin & 1 in London!
Check out the website for more info!

Have you tried out any of The Port House restaurants in Dublin?
Do you love Tapas as much as I do?

XO, G.

My University Experience

Time for a lifestyle post!

If you follow me over on Twitter, you might have seen that I've officially passed all of my University exams, so I'll be throwing on a cap and gown and rollin' on up to graduate in September. I've been thinking of writing a post on my own University experience for awhile, but now that I've completely finished University I feel like I can give you all a more rounded view of my experience. I know if I'd have come across something like this before I started University, I would have been a lot more prepared for what to expect. Haha. So hey, maybe this will be interesting for some of you!

I'll have a chit-chat about my actual degree first & then move on to University life.
So grab a cup'a coffee (or tea.. or hot chocolate.. or don't. haha) and get comfy - because this may be a bit of a lengthy post!

My Degree
I don't want to linger too much on all the 'bookish' things...
I know you're all more interested in finding out about the student life. haha. So I'll try to be brief!

For any of you that don't already know, I majored in English Literature and History in UCD, Dublin and my degree was three years long. I basically decided to study an Arts Degree in University because I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do when I finished school (and that's okay, most people don't). Fun fact: Teachers/Guidance Councillors suggested I study Law and I actually listened. Put that sucker down as my first choice! Clearly that changed quickly. Law... really? No thank ya!

One thing that I didn't know before I went to University? Apparently a lot of people consider an Arts Degree to be a bit of a 'joke degree'. Really? Get yo'self into the course, study the modules and then tell me what you think. Haha. It's as challenging as any other course. You're studying for a degree after all.

My first year was good - classes were interesting, tutors were helpful and I actually enjoyed the 'new-ness' of sitting in a lecture hall for classes. My grades didn't count towards my degree (as long as I passed), so it gave me a bit of a chance to settle into a more independent style of studying. Apart from a couple of run-ins with some horrible group work projects (avoid those babies like the plague, if you can - someone always gets lumped with the majority of the work), I really enjoyed it!

Second & Third Year were kinda similar - obviously my classes got more difficult (expected) & the workload got heavy (I spent more time at a desk typing up essays and drowning myself in tea than I wanted to) but I started to settle into the ways of the University a lot more each year. Confession time.. I am and always have been a studious person. I'm a bit of a perfectionist (Mam would say a lot of a perfectionist) but I just like getting things done to the best of my abilities. I probably enjoyed my final year the most - 1. Because I could choose the classes that I wanted to study instead of being lumped in to mandatory ones.. like that one time I found myself learning some form of Old English that resembled German.. and 2. Because most classes were assignment based, which meant no exams - WINNING!

Overall though, I really enjoyed my degree. I studied two subjects that I had an interest in, so it was pretty foolproof to begin with. As long as you're doing something you enjoy, you're always gonna find it that bit easier!

What Everyone Really Want's To Know About | University Life
I've literally written and deleted this part so much because I can't find a way to write this where I don't feel stupid, so bare with me. Haha.

I'll start off by saying that before I hit University, in my head, I was so ready. I was excited to go to college, to be independent, to live the student life. Destiny's Child's 'Independent Woman' was like the soundtrack to my life (#ThrowYourHandsUpAtMe.. haha). I was good friends with a few people in the year ahead of me & I'd visited them, maybe twice, for a night out but by no shape or form did I actually know what the campus was like... other than bits and pieces of student accommodation!

First Year
Sweet Baby Jesus did I get a shock in First Year. Only on my induction day did I put 2 and 2 together and realise that I decided to attend the largest University in Ireland - well done Grace. The place is like a small town, put it that way.
I don't want to ramble, so to get to the point, I straight up HATED University in First Year... badly for the first two months, but I got used to basically putting up with it after that. At one stage I actually told my parents that I wanted to quit (Seriously!). I even spent the first week being driven up and down to Dublin because I just didn't want to be there. In perspective, I know this was the culmination of a lot of things - the sheer size of the place, living with 5 people that I didn't know at all, the relationship that I was in at the time and I didn't have the comforts of my own home (the rooms were tiny). I know those are all things that people have to deal with when they go to University - but they just hit me like a brick wall. I knew that this wasn't the experience that any of my friends from back home were having - University life & me just didn't click.

When I went to classes, I tried to make friends but didn't see any one person enough to really click with them - the amount of people in my course was insane. When I got home, I didn't have much in common with anyone I was living with, although they were lovely. (I did end up living with one 28 year old foreign exchange student who was super strict though). I went on nights out, luckily I was living next door to someone I went to school with, but not often. Sometimes I thought that because I wasn't up for going out every week.. or 3-4 nights a week, people thought I was odd? (That ain't odd. Haha). Basically I felt straight up awkward and worse.. like I couldn't be myself. So after all of that my confidence took a little bit of a hit. It was just easier for me to chill in my room, or take a jaunt to the shopping centre and pretty much wait for Friday to come so I could go home.

I completely realise how bad that sounds but I just really didn't like it. I was literally there to get my degree and leave. haha. What's worse is that I wanted to make new friends and get to know new people - so this wasn't ideal! It gets better though, I promise. :P

Second Year
Going into Second Year, I basically decided that I didn't want to have the same crappy experience that I did in first year. The relationship that I had been in ended over the Summer and that alone made me want to start fresh. I took the plunge and applied for on-campus accommodation, which meant that I would be living with 5 randomers again. Luckily it worked out a lot better than the previous year and although I wasn't really close to my housemates, they were all lovely and often sat up to watch Disney movies with me. That's how we do! Haha.
No matter how hard I tried (and I tried hard because my confidence was on the ground when it came to college), I still found it difficult to make friends in classes - and I really do put that down to the insane number of people in my course.
Going on nights out didn't change all that much - they were still a rarity. Fun Fact: I got my purse stolen the first night I went out. Typical! Haha.

So at the end of the year, it wasn't a whole pile different to First Year unfortunately. I'd made a few friends, but none that clicked as much as my friendships back home. I felt that because I didn't want to go out as much as others that kinda put me at a disadvantage because I wasn't living the normal 'student life'... Second Year was meh!

Third Year
This is when things started to take a turn about. Finally I hear ya say! Haha.
In third year I decided to scrap the idea of living in Dublin. The thoughts of having to move in to a house with 5 new people that I might not even get on with didn't really appeal to me for my last year in College. Instead, I lived at home and travelled down to Dublin every morning. Honestly, this suited me so much more. My grades went up, I felt more comfortable and I pretty much felt like myself again - having a new feller & my friends and family to come home to wasn't to bad either ;) Haha.
In my first Semester, I was actually given the chance to jet off to Florence for a trip with a History class. Obviously I wanted to say yes but I literally knew no-one, so the old apprehension set in. Anyhoo, I ended up joining the trip and had the time of my life. Travelling with a small group meant that I made some great friends (and even one that blogs... I'm lookin' atchuu Emily).
This made me settle into University a lot more and in Semester 2 I tried my darnedest to get to know people in classes... even if it made me look like the creepy annoying girl. It worked! :P

At the end of it all, I think I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with University. I loved the fact that I was getting a degree out of it at the end and the work wasn't too bad. I hated my first year, felt a bit meh about my second but my Final Year was great. I guess it's best to end off on a good note.

I know this definitely isn't the experience that most people have when they go to college - I think I might have been a tad unlucky with my first year and that kinda had a knock on effect on the rest of my University experience. It did, however, give me thicker skin and it's prepared me a lot more for life after University!

So don't be discouraged if you're reading this and you're heading off to Uni in September. Chances are you're not gonna have the same experience as me. Haha.

If anyone has made it to the end of this post, I applaud you. You deserve some brownies or something!

I'd love to know if anyone else had a similar experience or if University/College just wasn't for you?
Maybe you freekin' loved it and never wanted to leave?
Let me know in the comments!

How To Not Look Like A Hot Mess In The Morning

Lets face it, we all have those mornings when we drag ourselves out of bed after a night of next to no sleep. This however happens to me a hell of a lot in the Summer when my hay fever just refuses to give my sinuses a break. Itchy eyes and barely being able to breath with a stuffy nose = lack of sleep... and that guarantees me looking like a hot mess when I have to get my ass out of bed the next morning!

That being said, I was inspired to conjure up a post with a few thangs that I find help me look... not like a zombie, for the benefit of all the small children out there (and adults alike).

  • Eye Cream - Eye creams are my new besties in the morning time, especially those that help to de-puff the old bags under my eyes. Anything soothing & slightly cold is always good! The Eve Lom eye cream pictured above is my favourite at the minute.
  • Highlighters.. Highlighters... & more Highlighters - When applied around your eye area, highlighters really help to open those babies up! I usually use the highlight from the Naked Basics Palette in my inner corner and then YSL's Touche Éclat under my eye. Touche Éclat is pretty much beauty sleep in a click pen! It's a lifesaver!
  • Concealer - If I don't grab my Touche Éclat, I'll reach for my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. It's a great full coverage concealer that guarantees those dark circles won't be coming out for the world to see!
  • Mascara - When it comes to my eye makeup, as much as I'd like to pile on as much makeup as possible... that kinda doesn't play in my favour. It usually directs attention to those lovely bags! No bueno! Instead, I'll use a brightening shadow and lash on the mascara! Lengthening your lashes, again, makes those peepers pop! (A white/nude eyeliner on the waterline also works wonders).
  • The Brow Game - I'll never leave the house without my brows done. They just look straight up stupid when they're not filled in. This aside though, I do find that when I groom my brows and create a nice arch, it draws the eye up and makes me look automatically bright eyed and bushy tailed!

I found this alarm on Tumblr and LOL'd - so thought I'd throw it in for your amusement! haha. Get creative with yo' alarms!

Have you got any tips for helping to look half decent in the morning?
Share them below loves!

Wingin' It | Double Winged Liner (Makeup Look)

Waddup ya'll!

Hope everyone at home had a faboosh Bank Holiday Weekend! Sorry about the little lag in blogposts from Thursday but travelling got the best of me over the weekend - speaking of which, I managed to overcome my fear of being out in the middle of the sea & hopped on a ferry home, so I suppose that's somethin'! Tea & brownies managed to keep me sane for the journey! haha.

Last week I promised that I'd stick up a makeup look using the new gel liner pen from Benefit, so on Sunday I cracked open that baby and gave it a whirl!

Because I was testing out the liner, I decided to tackle a double winged look which is a lot more wearable than I thought it was gonna be - I actually wore this look out on Sunday night. My shadows are all from The Balm's ''Nude'tude'' palette (I made full use of Duty Free on the flight over to England. haha - €10 off, yes puhhlease).

In terms of the liner, honestly, I found it SUPER difficult to use at first. It's completely different to any type of liner that I've used before; the flexible tip was kinda dodgy at first and I think the start of the liner was a little dry because the colour wasn't transferring too well.

Once I got going though, I was on a roll. The liner can create a super thin or a super thick line and it definitely does hug the lash line like it claims to. The staying power is crazy good, the colour is jet black & it doesn't transfer onto your upper lid like some others do. But be warned, you don't wanna mess up with this liner (like I did this morning) - its great staying power means it's almost impossible to budge unless you use the 'They're Real' Remover, which also calls for you to take off all of your eyeshadow - no bueno!

I think I'm gonna have to use this stuff a little more before I form a full blown opinion on it. This look turned out as planned but this mornings makeup was a bit of a disaster. The formula seemed to crumble when I tried to glide it over my shadow - think it may have had something to do with the shadow being slightly creamy (this has happened before with other liners), but who knows! I'ma keep tryin' though! The jury's still out on this one for now I'm afraid!
