What's On My Face | Blue Lagoon (Makeup Look)

Happy Monday Bloggers! Today I'm back with another makeup look - thought I'd share all the thaanngs I put on my face for my Momma's burthday last weekend! I'm not gonna lie, I think the last time I wore a navy / blue eye was about 4 years ago and my poor MAC pigments have been feeling super unloved ever since, so I thought I'd pop open some of the little beauties and get to experimenting!
I hadn't a notion where this look was going when I started, was totally winging it - but this is what happened at the end.

^^ Always feel stupid doing the classic 'this is what's on my face' poses but it's the only way for ya'll to see the makeup without me looking like the grudge. haha

If you've never seen, swatched or used any of MAC's pigments, lemme just start off by saying they're incredible. I like to think of them as a partaay in a pot. Obviously, they're not very wearable for daytime but when you're feelin' a lil' friskay they're super fun to use. I like to layer them over pressed eyeshadows to really make the colour pop! Totally worth the investment if you're a makeup lover because they last a lifetime. Make it raaainnn glitterrr!

I kept everything else pretty minimal - nude lip and a teeny tiny bitta contouring - but I'm pretty happy with how the look turned out. I don't look crazy anyway and that's always a plus!

Again, I used all my usual products for a base because they all work so freekin' well!

On my eyeballs (not really, but you know what I mean) I used;
Primer - UD Primer Potion (Eden)
Shadows:
UD 'Strange' - Naked 3 | Entire Lid
UD 'Naked 2' - Naked Basics | Crease
L'Oreal Crome Intensity 'Blue Jean' (182) | Crease, Focus on outer corner & lower lash line
MAC Pigment Colour Powder 'Bell-Bottom Blue' (Similar Here) | Layered on 'Blue Jean'
Liquid Liner - Rimmel Exaggerate Liner
Liner - Maybelline Colour Show Brown Liner (Water Line)
False Lashes - MAC

LIPS
MAC 'Creme Cup'

Have you ever used MAC's pigments?
What do you think of using coloured shadows? Are you more of a neutral person?

XO, G.
