I had a few thangs to go to over the long weekend that called for some big gurl makeup looks, so I thought I'd share them with you on the blog. The look I've got for you today is quite heavy in rich tones like reds and golds - a bit dark for Spring/Summer, but it was an evening event and I was feelin' a red lip - no changin' my mind!
My eyeshadow stash has probably seen more lovin' over the last week than it has in the last year. haha. With being finished college I've got loads more time to experiment with different tones - a pleasant change from my standard college makeup - aka. neutrals.
I've used a few products that I featured in last weeks HAUL for this look. I still can't get over how close a match my new Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet is to my skin tone - this stuff is a god send for me right now! As ashamed as I am to admit it, I can't be the only one that has very few foundations in their possession that they don't have to blend the crap out of to get it to match their skin tone. BUT THIS STUFF!! It's almost an exact match! AND it's so lightweight - it's crazy hard to find a foundation targeted at oily skin types that doesn't feel as if you've just slathered your face in muck - no bueno.
Here's all the thangs I put on my face:
Primer - Benefit | The Porefessional
Foundation - Chanel | Perfection Lumiere Velvet (Beige 10)
Concealer - NARS | Radient Creamy Concealer (Chantilly)
Powder - Bobbi Brown | Sheer Finish Loose Powder (Pale Yellow)
Bronzer - Benefit | Hoola
Brows - Benefit | Brow zings
Primer - Urban Decay | Eyeshadow Primer Potion (Eden)
- UD | "Naked 2" - Naked Basics (Crease)
- Sunkissed | Maroon (Outer Corner and Outer Lower Lash Line)
Eyeliner - Maybelline | Colour Show
Mascara - Rimmel | Volume Flash Scandaleyes Extreme Black
False Lashes - MAC
Balm - The Body Shop | Born Lippy (Raspberry)
Lipstick - Kate Moss x Rimmel | Lasting Finish (107)
So that's about errythang guys!
