Tea Party | Belle's Tea Rooms

Happy Thursday People!
Today I thought I'd pop up a lifestyle post & let you all tag along to a place where I let myself indulge in 2 of my favourite things - tea & food.

For those of you that aren't familiar with Belle's Tea Rooms, it's a quaint & quirky little café that sits on the water front in Blackrock, Co. Louth. It's the most perfect place to go for a girly lunch, full to the brim with desserts, old style sweets and endless amounts of tiny tea cups. You'll often find me & Mother Dearest tucked in here for hours at a time while I drink my body weight in tea - ain't nothin' wrong with that! Haha.

I've been trying to drag my lovely other half here for months (I say drag because it's a 20 / 25 minute drive from where I live. haha) & I eventually persuaded him to tag along yesterday - I'd been craving their Italian Job Ciabatta for way too long!

Typically this was the one day that the staff had to sit me under the stairs where it was next to impossible to get photos for this post - but I tried my bestest! Usually the tiny café is swarming with people but we seemed to have landed at a good time so it would have been nice to get a window seat but however... the food was still so yummaayy!

But what really makes the place for me is the decor!

Big comfortable arm chairs, dainty little chandeliers with hanging tea cup charms, pastel pink & purple everywhere - Belle's have completely nailed the 'Tea Rooms' vibe, even down to the pink & white polka dot aprons that the girls wear, adorable!!

It almost feels like you're siting in your own living room... so you can understand how I could end up tucked away in here for a few hours. Haha.

So if you ever find yourself wandering about the Blackrock / Dundalk area, make sure to pop in & give this fab little café a try! It's my secret obsession!

Do you know of any other places like this?
Let me know in the comments guys and gals!

XO, G.
